Recognizing battery storage as a key enabler of the future energy grid, the client aimed to leverage new technologies to increase flexibility and resilience. The Fevang site was also selected as a participant in both local and national flexibility markets.

We delivered a complete TGN Grid Scope solution based on TGN Power – a smart and scalable energy system that enables seamless interaction with the power grid and market platforms. The solution supports peak management and grid stability, while unlocking new revenue streams through active market participation. With this setup, the client is equipped for both operational efficiency and energy market integration.
Results and Benefits
- The battery system has been fully accepted into the Norwegian flexibility market, including national reserve services through Statnett, as well as local and commercial platforms such as Euroflex and NODES.
- This enables a significant income potential, in addition to the operational value of peak shaving and load balancing.
