TGN Grid scope: TGN Basic, BESS (12x Narada 100 kW / 233 kWh), Solar PV (Isola Solar 1650 kWp)
TGN Energy has delivered a complete energy management system (TGN Basic) with battery storage to Sagamoen Eiendom’s large industrial building at Hantovegen 300 in Lunde. The project was carried out as a subcontractor to Isola Solar, which installed a 1650 kWp solar PV system.
The facility consists of a Narada battery system rated at 1200 kW / 2795 kWh, integrated with the solar production to maximize self-consumption. The building is primarily used by Bandak AS, which specializes in advanced machining and production of technical systems for the oil & gas industry, maritime sector, defense, and general industry. This results in a variable and occasionally high electricity consumption.
The solution provides Sagamoen Eiendom with significantly better control over energy costs through peak shaving and increased self-consumption. In addition, the battery will deliver grid support services to Statnett and the local DSO, Føre. The system is also prepared for future energy sharing with neighboring buildings via two additional high-voltage transformers on the industrial site.
